Can I use insurance for my visits?

Yes. We are contracted with most major insurance carriers including Medicare.

Do I need a referral to schedule an appointment?

No, referrals are not required unless you have an HMO insurance plan. HMO plans will require a referral from your primary care physician. We can also accept referrals from your doctor or surgeon.

Can I schedule as soon as possible or will I have to wait for a long time?

Our goal is to schedule patients same day, if not the following day.

Do I need to have imaging or any testing completed prior to scheduling?

No. Any testing that may be needed, will be discussed during your appointment and can be ordered by our providers.

What services does your clinic provide?

Active Release Technique, Anodyne Therapy, Biomechanics, Chiropractic Care, Decompression Therapy, McKensize Method, Physical Therapy, and Trigger Point Technology to name just a few.

I have a fear of chiropractic treatment, how do I know if this is the right option for me?

Our providers focus on soft-tissue techniques and functional rehab. Manipulation, or “Adjustments” are only used when indicated and ONLY with patient consent. A large number of patients do not have any manipulation performed at all.

What age groups do you primarily treat?

We have patients of all ages, but focus on musculoskeletal conditions usually on ages eight (8) and up.

What should I expect during my initial visit?

Our providers will perform a complete physical examination, an in-depth history of your complaints, and provide hands-on treatment. You will be instructed in exercises or stretches to help alleviate your pain, and also receive passive therapies; to include ultrasound and electrical stimulation.

What do I need to bring to my initial visit?

Please bring a photo ID, insurance card(s), medication list, copy of referral if provided, any prior testing, any operative reports related to your symptoms, and work-out attire. We also encourage our patients to bring a list of questions so our staff may provide answers and education regarding your diagnosis.

Can you refer me to a specialist if needed?

Yes. Our office works closely with many specialists in the Austin area ranging from pain management to orthopedics.

What is Active Release Technique (ART)?

It is a technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves that may be causing one of the following concerns: headaches, back pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow. These are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.

I am currently pregnant, can I still be treated?

Yes. We currently offer treatment methods that are safe for both baby and mom. If you are currently pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant, please notify our staff to make appropriate treatment plans.

Do you accept Letters of Protection (LOP)?


Can I complete my new patient forms prior to my appointment?

Yes. Our forms may be downloaded from our website, and our staff may email or fax you a copy of our forms if needed.

How often will I need to be seen?

That depends upon the findings during the initial evaluation, but most patients find maximum relief in six (6) to eight (8) visits.

How can I obtain a copy of my medical records?

A copy of your medical records will be available to you via our patient portal for your review.

I do not have child care, can I bring my child with me to my appointment?

We love kids! We offer a family friendly atmosphere.

Can I be treated for more than one condition during my appointment or do I need separate appointments for each diagnosis?
